Local Time Zone Support in Conference Control Panel & Notification Emails
As NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS & SA have started daylight savings, Greymouse releases its latest feature
After much customer feedback of how confusing timezones can be to manage when participants are joining a teleconference from around Australia, we have added local time zone support.
You are now able to :- create, view & edit conferences in your local timezone, including when daylight savings is in effect - and it works for any time zone around the world.
When using our email invite system - each time zone around Astralia & New Zealand will be on the email as the start time to join the conference, making it easier to coordinate a country wide conference.
By default your time zone is set to Brisbane time (as our system worked on that time), you can customise your local time under My Account, Edit Personal Information, Time Zone.
Note: When daylight savings finishes in Australia on the 4th of April 2010, you will still be required to edit your future/scheduled conferences back one hour if you want to keep it in sync with a daylight affected time zone.
