Skype for SIP Beta works with Greymouse SIP Teleconference Service
Last month Skype released their SIP for Skype BETA.
This is a remarkable step forward for both Skype & SIP. This means that business that are using a SIP based PBX can integrate the Skype client with their PBX, allowing employees to answer and make both Skype or SIP calls.
This enhancement enables the ability to use our SIP/VoIP teleconferencing ability for conferences.
The system is still in beta but for those who are ready to test it out, Skype has an on-line form to complete to apply for the Skype for SIP Beta program.
We will update as more information as it becomes available.

Just as I posted this I
Just as I posted this I received my email back from Skype after applying for the beta program 2 weeks ago.
"We have now selected the first applicants to be part of the beta program. We will be testing and evaluating the Skype for SIP product with these companies before we expand the beta program further."
This looks like at the moment Skype is not accepting any more applicants to currently use the service, however you can still apply for when they expand the beta group size.
We are not sure how long it will take to move from limited beta to full beta, but be sure that we will notify you when the change happens.
