As NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS & SA have started daylight savings, Greymouse releases its latest feature

After much customer feedback of how confusing timezones can be to manage when participants are joining a teleconference from around Australia, we have added local time zone support.

You are now able to :- create, view & edit conferences in your local timezone, including when daylight savings is in effect - and it works for any time zone around the world.

As some of you have noticed we have released our new teleconference recording system.

After lots of feedback and talks with our users about our old recording system and its limitations, we have worked long and hard to remake our teleconference recording system.

So you might be asking yourself, well what changed?

  • Removed 'moderator call in to start recording' restriction.
  • Added recording ability for Permanent/Non timed conferences.
  • Web page shows if the conference is currently being recorded.

Please be sure to update your bookmarks.
The old site URL will still continue to work, and will begin to redirect you to the new site URL.

The conference control panel is the site that allows you to create conferences and manage them live. the old URL was (http://cp.conference.greymouse.com.au)

Automatic Invite System - Automatic Dial Out - Now Available

We have released our BETA version of our premier 'Automatic Telephone Invite System'.

What is it?

This system will automatically call your participants phone number and invite them to join the conference just before the conference starts. - And we are not charging any extra to use this feature for landlines!

You can now start teleconferencing with regional & national landlines with out the participant paying a cent! (That's right... Totally FREE for the participant, they just answer their phone.)

New Conference Type: Recurring Conferences

We have released the latest version of our control panel website.

In this version we have focused on releasing recurring conferences and updating the way we add conferences & send out emails to participants.

We now use a two stage conference creation system with graphics to show what kind of conference to create (Timed, Permanent & Recurring)

1800 Participant Free Call Number

We have implemented a requested feature, a 1800 number service that allows for your participants to call that are not located in the major city's (regional participants) for free (No STD phone calls).

The 1800 number has a higher pricing per line (shown on our pricing page), then standard inbound lines because the STD phone call gets charged to your conferencing account.

Teleconference Control Panel Update

The Greymouse Teleconference Control Panel has been updated to allow for booking a permanent number, where invoices are sent out at the end of each month.

This change still allows for one user account to host many conference rooms.

With this change comes a new way of using the advanced features & passwords, they are hidden to begin with and the option to show them must be ticked on to use them.

We have added to the registration form the option of signing up for a free trial of our teleconferencing services.

This will give you access to create two free teleconferences, (some options will be disabled).
This allows you to find out if our service is what you’re looking for, and to try out the advanced features options like recording or announce participants name on joining.

This is the form to fill out to register your interest of our service and to join the beta testers list. You will be called back and your details verified.
Then you will have access to login to our conference server and start hosting conferences.
