Looking to reduce STD costs when calling into our teleconference service?

Conference owners & participants can now invite themselves for FREE by clicking on the invite link in their email or clicking on the "Click To Dial - Participant Free Call" link on the Contact Info block (top left on our website).

SIP / VoIP Connection to our Teleconferencing Service

We have added the ability for customers to connect to our teleconferencing service through the SIP protocol.

Because its an IP based technology, phone lines are not used in the process of the call and there for reducing the cost for delivering the service.

This is not a separate conference room or service, its the same service. You can have participants connected through the 1800 Toll-Free number, Our standard inbound lines, Called through the Invite System and through SIP at the same time. all while having access to our feature range such as recording and scheduling.

Skype Conference Supports up to 25 Participants - Why use Teleconferencing?

Skype for Windows supports up to 25 participants on a Skype Conference Call. While the host must be on Skype for Windows, participants can be on any version of Skype or be on a PSTN connection via SkypeOut.

So.. Why still use a Teleconferencing service?

  • Skype calls are placed over the internet. This requires the host to 'take the load' of the teleconference.
    (25 participant session requires a minimum 500 kbps upload speed at the host's connection. & requires that the hosts computer has a fast CPU)

We are often asked about how the pricing of how teleconferencing works in relation to the person calling into our service.

Standard Call In

The cost for a participant to call into our service is whatever they would normally pay to dial our number.
These costs are often hard to know, because they are the cost through the participants service provider.

Local Landline Example: Brisbane person dials our Brisbane number, it would cost them the cost of a local call through their provider.
